New Year's Eve Cake!

This cake is a little time consuming, but it is so worth it and it looks so cool.

Ingredients:
Cake mix (I used Pillsbury Moist Supreme Strawberry)
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of oil
3 eggs
Vanilla icing
Wilton candy melts
Wilton silver color mist
Wilton black gel tube
Skewers

Cake/Cupcakes:
You're baking a one-layer cake and 12 mini cupcakes.
Preheat the oven to 350.
Combine water, oil, eggs, and cake mix and mix until moistened.
I don't remember all of this off the top of my head, however, I know all of the information is on the side of the box. I baked it until I could stick a toothpick in and the toothpick came out clean.
Set them to cool for about an hour.

Numbers:
While the cake is cooling, take 12 Candy Melts and spray them with the Silver Color Mist until their covered, these also take a while to dry so when you're done, let everything set for about an hour.

When the cake is cool, frost it and spray it with a gentle layer of Silver Color Mist.

When the numbers have dried, squeeze a pile of Black Gel Icing onto a plate and use a toothpick to dip and write the numbers on each of the Candy Melts. Stick them on each of the cupcakes in ways of a clock.

Hands:
The hands are one skewer cut in the middle and covered in black gel icing. One is a bit longer than the other, just as the hands on a regular clock are. To cover the base, I just made a circle out of icing.

And you're done!
