#GetFitFriday · 6

Let's just pretend it's Friday, okay, deal.

Hello, everybody, it's been a while since we've talked about fitness, and that's because I fell off of the wagon for a bit. I'm not entirely sure what motivated me to get back into the swing of it, but I'm thrilled that I have. This is a reminder to keep me on the wagon, and a little bit of extra motivation on the tougher days.

Let's start out by saying that I have worked out every day this week. I went to the gym twice, worked out at home once, and every other day I met my step goal by walking around work, or going outdoors and walking around. My step goal is at 12,500, and if I didn't meet that every day, then I came very very close each day.

I ate really well this week, until the IHOP I ate just about an hour ago, but this entire week I've cut back on desserts, minimized portions, and made healthier choices when it comes to snacks. I found myself eating more often, which is fine because they are smaller snacks and smaller meal sized, but it keeps me full longer. I've also upped my consumption of water, and also started making more smoothies in place of meals, but I haven't felt hungry at all, and that's been refreshing from the past times I have tried to seriously diet and exercise because I used to feel that starving meant progress. I'm not going to delve deeper into that, but I'm definitely feeling better overall.

I want to talk about some of the products in the photo above (hashtag not spon, just lovin'.) I stopped at Walgreens on the whim after the gym on Wednesday, and I grabbed the Blue Machine Naked juice. I've only ever tried the Strawberry Banana Naked juice previously, so I decided to give this one a try, and I absolutely loved it. It was ideal for settling my stomach after working out, and I cannot wait to try the other flavors available.

I also found these Curate bars. I'm used to seeing Clif bars everywhere, but to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Clif. Every time I try one, they upset my stomach, and the texture is not the most appetizing.
However, these Curate bars are similar in the texture, but they taste so much better. The ingredients are listed on the front of the package (I took more of a liking to the one with strawberries.) Walgreens only had these two available, but I loved both of them immensely. Alongside the Naked juice, they make the perfect post-workout pair.
